Our Organization
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Oregon is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, independently owned and operated by its Board of Directors which consists of area business people, medical professionals and other caring individuals. Contrary to popular belief, our operational funding is entirely dependent upon the generosity of our community and donors. In fact, 45% of our annual revenue is obtained through our two key annual fundraising efforts, the Central Oregon Open Dinner-Auction & Golf Tournament and our winter "Let It Snow" campaign. Third-party fundraisers by local organizations, individual donations and lodging contributions add to our annual income.
We Give Back
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Oregon also gives back to our community through our grant making program that annually distributes funds to Central Oregon non-profits whose programs directly improve the health and well-being of children and families. These funds come through the Ronald McDonald House canisters placed at all McDonald’s franchise locations. Once per year, the sum total of these donations is doubled by our global charity so we can redistribute thousands of dollars back into the communities we serve throughout Central and Eastern Oregon.
Our Success
We are proud to say 87 cents of every dollar donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon goes directly to serving the families who depend upon us, just one of the reasons that Ronald McDonald House Charities has been named one of America’s Top 100 Charities by Worth Magazine more than once. Our small staff and dedicated group of volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of those we serve to create a "home away from home" environment and remain a beacon of hope during times of uncertainty and stress. We invite you to tour our Bend Ronald McDonald House anytime 9-5, M-F. We are located at 1700 NE Purcell Blvd., Bend, OR 97701.
